Fall School Tours (October)
Get outside for some hands on learning this fall! You will take a wagon ride, pick and eat an apple, Pick a basket of apples for the classroom, Feed the goats, play and choose a small pumpkin from the pumpkin patch to take home. You will also get to choose a large carving pumpkin for your classroom. We only book one school per timeslot.
Rainy Day plan: We will have story time with Farmer James in the barn and plan outdoor activities around the weather.
Time Frame: 1 1/2 hours
Arrival Times: 10am and 11:30am (We can comfortably accommodate approximately 60 people in one timeslot)
Cost per student $11.25 plus HST (ALL adults including teachers, school staff and parent volunteers up to a ratio of 1 adult:5 students are FREE!)
Minimum Cost: $225 plus HST (i.e., the equivalent of 20 students)
Availability:
Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, beginning Wednesday October 11th (after Thanksgiving).
Due to staffing, we are not able to accommodate tours on Tuesdays or Thursdays, or tours before Thanksgiving. Thank you for your understanding.

Maple Syrup Tours (March)
Bring your class to the farm and learn all about maple syrup production and much, much more. Our 90 minute program includes a wagon ride to the sugar bush, explanations of modern and early syrup making, a tour of the sugar shanty and evaporator, learning how to tap a tree, a taste of maple taffy poured on snow, and learning about the different tools used in making maple syrup.
A pancake “snack” can be offered for an additional charge. Please note: The pancake snack includes a small pancake with pure maple syrup and a small cup of apple juice.

Tours are available weekdays (except Mondays) from Friday March 1st to Thursday March 28th, 2024 (Excluding March Break–March 11-15).

Prices ( we have adjusted our pricing this year to allow for a reasonable number of free parent volunteers)
Tour only $10.00 plus HST per student
Tour with pancake snack $14.00 plus HST per student
School Staff (teachers and EAs), as well as parent volunteers are free up to a ratio of 1:5 students. Additional adults will pay the same rate as the students.
